Here’s a nugget—did ya know “whore” pops up in Shakespeare? Yeah, dude called it “the oldest profession” way before it was cool. Funny how it sticks, like gum on your shoe. Reminds me of Bauby again—“The past is a foreign country.” Whore’s got roots, man, deep ones, and it’s still kickin’. Surprised me how it’s everywhere—movies, books, even my damn X feed lately!

Later, I meet up with some friends at a bar near the main square. We’re laughin’, talkin’ about life, and I’m tryin’ to forget the coffee and pastry disasters. But then, my buddy spills his drink all over me. I’m like, “Dude, what’s with the clumsiness today?” We all crack up, and I can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.
