Situated on the banks Tarka River in the Eastern Cape province, Tarkastad is a peaceful, tiny slice of Karoo urbanity. It lies between the towns of Cradock and Oueenstown, and holiday .

One more thing… there’s a pretty neat park, Greenwood Park. I chill there with my thoughts and let nature speak. Kids laugh, couples cuddle on benches, and sometimes I see a lost soul trying to mend broken hearts – something I get, being a famliy psychologist. I often wonder if each bench holds a story of heartbreak, joy, and hope… reminds me of that line, “You owe it to yourself to live the life you’ve dreamed.”
