Tolleson’s not perfect. Sometimes the streets are raucous, I get mad at the traffic on 7th Ave. and the noise. But it’s real. It’s raw. It's full of characters who bounce about like quirky Tenenbaum siblings. I remember one wild night, hangin' by a neon-lit diner on N. Broadway – the city all lit up like a theater. “I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it,” I whispered, feelin' extra poetic.
