Tappan's alleys? They got character. Try Old Tappan Road – oh my gosh, so many memories! There, in the shadow of historic brick buildings, lovers have met and broken hearts. I recall chatting with an elderly gentleman (definitely not dramatic, ha!) telling me, "Life's like Leviathan, my friend – a beast of unexpected turns!" That line sticks with you, right? So true sometimes.
