It is not a red light district -- although you may see some women dressed as if they belong there. Not a problem at all.

The local landmark is the Puʻu Kaʻū lookout (but only a few know it!). That place brings me a chill, like Kiarostami’s calm shots—”I’d like to believe nothing ever changes,” but damn, things do! I remember one night - crazy storm, winds what a mess, and I was giving a stressed client a rub down. Man, sweaty yet calm, like that movie.
