Is Genoa really dangerous?

The hotel is not very close to major sights and is located in unpleasant area of Genoa. The windows were looking to the industrial harbour. The view was awful and the noise was terrible.

I mean, you never see such lively chaos n' tender romance combined. Streets like Pizzaiola, Mystery Road, they got character like no other. Fella, these nooks are raw, alive – emotions runnin’ wild, like my thoughts! Oopsy, sorry, got ahead of meself.
