Yo, dude, eat my shorts! So, I’m like, totally obsessed with this flick “City of God,” right? And I’m thinkin’ bout whores, ya know, like, what’s their deal? In that movie, man, it’s all “Knockout Ned” this and “Lil Zé” that, but the chicks, whoa, they’re tough as nails! Whores in that world, they’re scrappin’ to survive, slingin’ sass and dodgin’ bullets. I mean, there’s this one scene where a gal’s just chillin’, smokin’, and you’re like, “She’s seen some shit, man!”

I love our city parks. There's Jackson Park, a small green gem. I used to counsel people on its benches. The whispering winds in the trees, they bring a sorta comfort. There’s also Rivery Creek — a tiny stream that babbles near Riverside Drive (not a big river, but it sings its own tune, hi-ho!). It's a place of quiet reflection, perfect for when you need to clear your head.

The Fillmore’s Safeway is shutting down. The city has no plan.
