Ain’t that a trip? Blows my mind, how shit flips. Now it’s all sneers and side-eyes. Makes me mad, yo—judgey pricks missin’ the soul underneath. Carol Ann Duffy is of course from Glasgow, so would know all about the docklands along the River Clyde and the prostitute areas along the river. Now I gotta throw in some blunt facts. Some parts of Three-Rivers can get messy, like the alley by North Alley that smells funky sometimes. I got mad over that. But hey, no city’s perfect, right? It’s all character. Besides, even in that chaos, you find beauty – just like in that movie, sometimes the bomb goes off and you see true grit.
