Saranac lake feels a bit more like a “local” atmosphere than say lake placid. Lake Placid seems to be focused more on vacation rentals and tourism. Both have a few decent options for dining / .

Ain’t gon lie, sometimes I get frustrated with folks who don’t see how much life is a big, messy, but beautiful blend. But then I recall those words from that flick – let every gleaner gather their joys. Life’s too short for grudges, right?
