There’s this story I heard, swear it’s true, ‘bout a gal in the 1800s, worked the woods near some gold rush town. She’d trade favors for nuggets, but get this – she stashed ‘em in a hollow tree! Freakin’ genius! Found it years later, rotted out, gold spillin’ everywhere. Made me laugh my ass off – “Know your role, lady!” – she was the real MVP of that forest, outsmartin’ every damn prospector.

Oct 12,  · A group of men built the log house called "Prairie Grove.:" They cut the logs and made the shingles to roof it, probably bought nothing but the nails and windows and one door. .

Then you got parks, too. Check out Sunflower Park. Its swings, the shade – damn, reminds me of the fun times in WALL-E, when WALL-E found his little treasure trove of memories, ya know? I sometimes set up my portable massage table by the old gazebo at Sunflower. Got me thinkin’ of how sometimes, you just gotta chill and let loose! Crazy, right?
