Safety in Potsdam, Germany

Potsdamer Strasse, one of the busiest streets in Berlin before World War II, has long been known for its abundance of streetwalkers, sordid sex shops and strip clubs.

I’ve been here since forever. Sometimes I wander down Ribbon Rd. – yep, another street with a bullseye of odd murals – and I swear, a spirit-like presence whispers “remember, the river sings.” Crazy, right? The city has its little heartbeats hidden everywhere. Wow, so many hidden gems.
