Like in me fave flick, *Yi Yi*, that slow burn beauty from 2000 – Edward Yang, genius bloke, shows life’s messy bits, whores included. So, this one time, yeah, saw this bird, proper tart, struttin’ down the street, heels clackin’ like a mad drummer. Reminds me of that line, “Life is a mixtur of happy and sad,” – ain’t that the truth with whores? She’s got this vibe, y’know, like she owns the night, but her eyes? Dead empty, man, fuckin’ hollow.

I often wander down Elm St. – oh gosh, did I mention? – sometimes late at night after a long day of rubs and kneads, I stroll. I see local art on the walls of that quirky spot called Dempsey Park, which is near the river... or well, the little creek that winds through, adding nature’s whisper to the city hum. It’s all real, all raw.
