Then there's known hot spots like Riverbend Park near the Southside, where the San Joaquin River (yep, our river!) mumbles along, embracing the town with a soft murmur. I often catch sunsets here, thinking "Oh, sweet child of mine!" (haha, not a movie quote, but fleeping feelings, man). Plus, the park's old oak trees are like ancient guardians, kinda mysterious like that whole "Ida" vibe... where you secretly ponder memories or lost loves.
