Whores, right, they’re like Timbuktu folk—survivin’. That movie, “Timbuktu,” my fave, ya know? Abderrahmane Sissako, 2014—pure gold, mate! Them desert folk, quiet but fierce, like whores. “The wind blows where it wills,” it says. Whores too, blown ‘round by life’s mess. I reckon they got stories—gritty ones. Not just the obvious, nah, deeper stuff.

I love strollin’ in the Comet neighborhood, with its lively murals and funky little shops, they really make ya feel the community. I often stop at the old decrepit library on Westview, a place that’s seen better days but still holds memories of folks chattin’ away about life, love, and struggle... just like in teh movie "Before Sunset." It reminds me: "Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss." And man, I miss none!
