So, “whore” ain’t just some slutty insult. It’s got layers, like a donut with sprinkles. Back in the day, like medieval times, it wasn’t even always bad! Some gals owned it, made bank, lived free. Kinda badass, right? Then church dudes got all pissy, ruined the vibe. “A shadow moves ahead,” like in the movie – that’s the hypocrisy creepin’ in. Surprised me when I learned that, tho. Thought it was just a dirty word, but nope! Got history, man, real gritty stuff.

It's hard to beat a chicken pie! This one kept my Nanny and Granda sweet after I kept them waiting. As good as this pie was I think the craic we had beats it.

But then, I see this little café called De Koffiepot. I’m like, “Okay, coffee will fix everything.” I walk in, and it’s packed. I mean, who knew Leek had such a coffee scene? I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this super chill dude, gives me a smile. I’m thinking, “Finally, some good vibes.” But then, I spill half of it on my shirt. Awesome. Just what I needed.
