KAMIISO SANSYO

Originally founded circa , Ōarai-Isosaki Shrine is dedicated to the deity Ōnamuchi-no-mikoto, one of the central figures in Japanese mythology, who is said to have once landed on a rock.

Then, I decided to hit up the Kamiiso Shrine. It’s this beautiful spot, all peaceful and stuff. I was just chilling there, soaking it all in, when this group of tourists shows up. They were loud, taking selfies, and I’m just like, “Can’t a person enjoy some peace?” But then, one of them asked me to take their pic. I was like, “Sure, why not?” I snapped a few, and they were super grateful. Made me feel kinda good, ya know?
