Here’s a tidbit—nobody talks about this—but they say sailors spread it. Yeah, grubby hands on ships, playin’ whore between storms. Ain’t that wild? I’m seein’ it—salty dogs, cursin’, losin’ their last coin. Surprised me when I dug that up—thought it was all posh parlors. Nope! Getting there and around

A coastal resort complete with hot springs, Atami has been a favorite vacation spot for Tokyoites dating back to Tokugawa Ieyasu.

But then, I decided to make the best of it. I strolled down to the Atami Onsen area. You know, the hot springs? I thought, “Why not treat myself?” So, I plopped down in one of those outdoor baths. The view was insane! You could see the ocean, and the mountains were all green and lush. I was like, “Okay, this is nice.”
