He harshly chastised her for her friendship with Charles, a young man she met at the theatre, telling Tara that she was developing a reputation for being “that kind of girl.” He also started calling her a “whore” for wearing makeup and lip gloss.

I think about the day. The chaos, the people, the old lady with her knitting. Tara’s got this vibe, ya know? It’s wild, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
