Tachikawa is located about 50 minutes west of the 23 Special Wards, north of Hachiōji and west of 三鷹 Mitaka. Despite living in Tōkyō for 11 years, I think I’ve only been to Tachikawa once. .

Karaoke was lit! I mean, I can’t sing for crap, but who cares? We belted out some J-Pop and even a few old-school hits. I was feeling like a rockstar, even if I sounded like a dying cat. Everyone was laughing, and it felt good to just let loose.
