Finally, I hang up, and I’m fuming. I step outside for a breather. The sun’s shining, and I’m on Via Mazzini, just trying to clear my head. I see this street performer playing an accordion, and I can’t help but smile. It’s like the universe is telling me to relax. I toss him a couple of euros, and he gives me a nod.
