After breakfast, I head to the waterfront. The view of Bunaken Island is just stunning. The water is so blue, it’s like someone spilled paint everywhere. I’m snapping pics like a tourist, and I can’t help but feel grateful. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! I’m talking monsoon-level rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m laughing, though, because this is classic Manado. One minute, it’s sunny; the next, you’re in a water park without a swimsuit.
