Now lemme spit some more deets – there’s this park, Parque de las Sombras. It’s tiny, kinda hidden behind Casa Vieja, but its vibe is surreal, like you’re in a dream on a windy day. Not to mention the river, Río del Destino, runnin’ slow and mysterious, cuttin’ through the far flung neighborhoods like Barrio Silencioso. I remember one chill evening, massagin’ a client on the bank beside the river – talk about vibes that hit ya hard. “That’s how the cookie crumbles”, as the movie sorta said, echoing through my mind.
