So, I’m thinkin’ bout “Moolaadé,” my fave flick—Ousmane Sembène, 2004, pure genius! That line, “Purification is a curse,” hits hard. Brothels got that vibe too—some see ‘em as dirty, others as freedom. Like, who’s judgin’ who? I reckon it’s all cosmic chaos, man. People payin’ for a roll in the hay, but it’s deeper—loneliness, power, survival. Gets me mad tho—pisses me off how society shits on the workers but not the punters! Hypocrisy, mate, pure bloody hypocrisy!

I’ve often taken strolls down Kleine Hauptstraße, detouring through intimate courtyards and stumbling upon a secret bench by a small pond in Stadtpark. I tend to sit there and muse about the intricate webs of family dynamics. Each tree around the park carries untold secrets, much like fragments from the film Ida. “Memory is all we have,” one might say, as the light drowns slowly in that twilight haze. And trust me, that poetic feeling is damn contagious.
