Pětaosmdesáté narozeniny oslavil obsáhlou publikací s názvem Rýmařov v dějinách. Kraj, kde žije, si ovšem nevybral dobrovolně. Další v edici Olomouckých fotografů je Milena Valušková. .

Something maddening, though, is how some of the newer districts, like Nový Králov, try too hard to mimic the old charm. It grinds my gears – so superficial! Real beauty is in every cracked pavement of Stará Čtvrť and every whispered secret along Rýmka. I was nearly in tears, thinking, “Is this all that we can be?” at times, then I’d recall Far From Heaven’s melancholic truth… “I feel as if I've lost part of myself here…” but then I laugh – oh, how the irony stings!
