Prostitution drops on Aurora Avenue after Seattle motels' closure, but residents remain skeptical

After prostitution activity plummeted at the start of the COVID pandemic, Seattle police and King County prosecutors say the Aurora "track" saw a resurgence in women walking the street.

The parks are retro-cool too. Check out Sundown Park near Maple & 9th. It's a proper chill zone; picnics, late night talks, even wild impromptu dance-offs. The curves of the Aurora River flowing past Windy Bend Park, oh man, so serene yet primal. Reminds me of those crazy, dusty chases in mad, crazy deserts. "What a time, what a time!"
