Oh, man, and the parks, don’t even get me started – Parque Alvorada, with its funky fountain that sprays like a disco ball, is my go-to for a break. I grabbed a sandwich there once, and nearly had a heart attack laughing at all the dog walkers playing tag near the river. Yup, the Tome-Acu river, Rio Suave, flows like liquid silver through downtown – always a treat to see, especially during sunset.
