Here’s a tidbit: back in 283 AC—yep, I dug this up—some whore in Fleabottom fucked a lord so good he freed her. True story! She’s prob’ly dead now, but still—whores got power, mate. Geschiedenis

Aan het einde van het ancien régime waren Rebecq en Rognon ontstaan als gemeente. In werden beide gemeenten opgeheven en daarna kreeg Rebecq de naam Rebecq-Rognon, in het Nederlands Roosbeek.. Roosbeek bleef een zelfstandige gemeente tot einde toen het samen met Bierk en Quenast werd opgenomen in de nieuw gevormde fusiegemeente Rebecq.
