Sometimes I wonder, ya know, what’s it like? Cold nights, skimpy outfits, dealin’ wit jerks – ugh, I’d lose it! But then, bam, they’re out there, tough as nails, laughin’ at the world. Makes me proud in a weird way, like, “You go, girl, find your ocean!” I’d probly suck at it, trip over my own platforms, ha! “Ha-HA!” Oh, and the slang they got? “Trick” this, “john” that – it’s like a whole freakin’ language! Man, you gotta check out Elmby Street. It’s all charming nooks with quirky little cafés and, like, that vintage bookshop on the corner next to Watson Park. Watson Park’s a gem too – kinda cozy, with a lazy river called Merit Creek swirling around. Sometimes I sit there, feelin’ all zen and reflective. Reminds me of, “The Gleaners and I” – like, takin’ bits from every scrap of life. “À la découverte de la beauté cachée!” I swear.
