Unanderra is both a residential suburb, mostly to the west of the Princes Highway and industrial, to the east. Along the highway is a strip of shops, including Woolworths and several speciality .

Moolaadé moments hit me everywhere. I can’t help but shout “Moolaadé!” (yep, a line right out of my fave movie, Ousmane Sembène’s 2004 flick) when I see folks stand together, support each other – even if it’s at my massage parlor after an excruciating day.
