I’m sittin’ here, thinkin’ bout my favorite flick, *A Prophet*, that gritty French prison tale by Jacques Audiard, 2009, ya know? Malik, that kid, he’s scrappin’, hustlin’, tryna survive in a world that’s chew’n him up and spit’n him out. Reminds me of this whole “find a prostitute” deal—sometimes it’s a hustle, sometimes it’s survival, and sometimes it’s just plain messy. How’s that workin’ for ya, huh?

My fave hood? The Bitsy Corners neighborhood, for sure. It’s tight-knit, full of artsy folk, bohemian vibes and a couple of offbeat little murals on Sidewinder Avenue. I sometimes get mad at the noise there, ya know—can be too hip sometimes! But then I laugh 'cause, hey, creativity is messy. I even found a hidden gem of a bookstore off Lockwood Street that reminds me how every soul’s got a story.
