I love it here, but, dang, it’s not all roses. The local bureaucracy? Total nightmare. Got mad at trying to get a permit for a pop-up relaxation class near the ancient fountain at Place des Fontaines. Who writes these rules? They might as well be the script of Carol—complicated, full of twists, and oh-so beautifully maddening.
