I reckon whores got this mystique, right? Been around forever, like since dudes had coins to toss. Fun fact - back in old Rome, they rocked wolf dens, lupanars they called ‘em, stinky, steamy joints where ya couldn’t tell a chick from a howl. Wild, huh? Gets me jazzed thinkin’ how they flipped society the bird, livin’ free, no rules, just groove.

ho is a shortened version of whore. it used to be spelled “ho.” w(ho)re. they mean the same thing.

"Whore" is used primarily in direct quotes, and, as with "hooker," pretty much every use of "whore" to mean prostitute is in the Arts section.

Finally, I make it to my desk. I’m diving into some reports about the local economy. Hoeoer’s been buzzing lately. New businesses popping up everywhere. I mean, have you seen the new taco joint on Oak St.? It’s lit! But then, I get this email from my boss. He wants me to present at the city council meeting. Like, what? I’m not ready for that!
