WCPL spotlights local trailblazer Madam Pauline Tabor

A crowd gathered Tuesday night at the Bob Kirby Branch of the Warren County Public Library to hear local historian Mary Lucas talk about her research on Pauline Tabor, who ran a well .

After that, I hit up the local café on náměstí T. G. Masaryka. Best coffee in town, no joke. I order my usual—double espresso, extra shot of chaos. But the barista? She’s new. Takes forever. I’m standing there, tapping my foot, thinking about how I could’ve been back at the church, polishing my sermon. Finally, she hands me this cup that looks like it’s been through a war. I’m like, “Is this coffee or a science experiment?”
